SuperLab 4.5.1 is a release that provides improvements and several bug fixes.
We recommend that all users upgrade to version 4.5.1. However, please note the following before doing so:
SuperLab 4.5.1 has been tested with Apple’s just-released Mac OS 10.7 Lion. It works well with Lion; we did not discover any incompatibilities.
The latest version of SuperLab 4 can always be obtained from www.cedrus.com/superlab/update/v4.
- If you create a stimulus list and use the “Add Folder” option, SuperLab now saves the individual file names in the collected data file.
- In the Event Editor’s Stimulus tab, when the Show grid checkbox is enabled, SuperLab now shows labels for the grid lines.
In addition to some visual fixes such as eliminating flicker, the following bugs have been fixed:
- When two or more trial variables were used within the same trial, the trial variable levels were not saved correctly to the data file. Fixed.
- The Self Paced Reading event type now honors the “erase screen at event end” option.
- Transferring an experiment from Mac to Windows (or vice versa) no longer loses the text color.
- If you create an event of type Movie but forget to specify the movie file, SuperLab no longer crashes when running the experiment.
- SuperLab no longer ignores a variable time limit when the event is being presented as feedback.
