Cedrus is pleased to release SuperLab 5.0.3. It adds a few features and squashes a couple of bugs.
Improvements
- New Timer parameter type. Create criteria such as “timer > N minutes”. Use actions to start, pause, and reset a timer.
- New option to clear all items at once from a stimulus list.
- In the Trial Editor’s Options tab, the feature “Start at (sync trials) every X milliseconds” will wait for next multiple of X if the prior trial overran.
IMPORTANT: this last item is a definite improvement but is also a change in how SuperLab behaves.
Bug Fixes
- (Mac-only) Mac string input. Restored keyboard combos for entering characters with diacritic marks (already fixed for windows in 5.0.2)
- (Mac-only) Problem with choosing microphone settings from “Edit Responses” in Event Editor.
- (Win-only) A running experiment could appear to freeze/crash if another app jumped into the foreground.
- Mouse response pixel position wasn’t saved unless “Whether the key was released or pressed” is selected.
