StimTracker works seamlessly with all ANT Neuro models that include the 25-pin Digital Input connector, providing a true plug-and-play integration. The eego models require an adapter cable available from ANT Neuro.
Here is a typical connection diagram for a StimTracker Duo:
On the input side, the diagram shows StimTracker Duo detecting the onset of visual stimuli using light sensors, the onset of auditory stimuli, and event markers sent via USB. On the output, event markers are sent to ANT Neuro via an m‑pod. A second m‑pod can be added, e.g. for an eye tracker, ensuring that all your biometric data are synchronized.
StimTracker Quad offers additional features:
The Quad model can detect the onset of a vocal response using any PC-compatible microphone and can handle more light sensors. It also supports an additional m‑pod output and provides raw TTL input and output.
You can go farther by adding a response pad. Keypress information is sent simultaneously via USB to the stimulus presentation computer running SuperLab (or E-Prime, Presentation, PsychoPy, etc.) and to StimTracker.
Events markers appear in ASA-Lab software.
Cedrus offers two other options; they offer less features but may better fit your budget.
Use c-pod to send event markers via USB.
A Riponda response pad and m-pod combo lets you mark onset of participant responses, onset of visual stimuli using a light sensor, onset of vocal response, and send event markers via USB.
