Some recording devices do not need or have a high sampling rate. As a consequence, they require a minimum pulse duration before an event marker can be detected.
By default, m-pod operates in “reflective” mode. For example, if StimTracker detects the length of an auditory stimulus as 10ms long, m-pod will produce a TTL pulse that has a 10ms duration. But you can change this behavior so that m-pod will enforce a minimum pulse duration no matter how short the actual signal duration is.
The steps below assume that you are using an “m-pod for Parallel Port” that is connected to StimTracker, but will work for any m-pod model. The steps are similar for when m-pod is connected to an Riponda or Lumina 3G controller. Assuming that Xidon is already installed:
When you click on OK, Xidon will save the change to flash memory so that it’s remembered even when m-pod is turned off.
