Using the RB-x30 Response Pad With SuperLab 4.0

The information in this document applies to:

• Owners of an RB-530, RB-730, RB-830, or RB-834 response pad who want to use it with SuperLab 4.0 for either Mac or Windows.

Requirements

Using an RB-530, RB-730, RB-830, or RB-834 response pad with SuperLab 4.0 require that you install the USB driver.

Setting Your Experiment in SuperLab

In SuperLab:

• Click on the Experiment menu and chose Participant Input. A dialog (screen) appears showing you the list of available input devices.

• Select the input "RB-x30 Series Response Pad".

• Click on the Setup tab.

• Click on the Auto Detect button.  If your response pad is connected to the computer and the USB driver is properly installed, SuperLab will find it and tell you so.

If SuperLab fails to find the response pad in the last step above, the most likely reason would be that the USB driver need to be installed or re-installed.
