Cedrus is pleased to release SuperLab 5.0.4. It adds two features and fixes a number of bugs.
Improvements
- When using Mouse or Touchscreen input, the number of automatically clickable stimulus locations on the screen is now unlimited (it used to be limited to 1 at a time)
- Speed optimization: when the Participant Group includes just a subset of blocks, SuperLab no longer wastes time preparing blocks the non-included blocks
Bug Fixes
- (Win-only) Experiment could freeze when using string input and mouse input simultaneously – fixed
- (Win-only) Pressing Esc or clicking the mouse button would fail to exit Preview mode when movie filled entire screen – fixed
- (Win-only) A black border no longer shows up around PNG files that have a transparent background
- (Mac-only) Pressing Esc key would fail to exit the experiment unless Keyboard input was selected – fixed
- When deleting a response, SuperLab could fail to warn you if the response was used by a rule – fixed
- In some scenarios, SuperLab was failing to warn you when an event used an empty list – fixed
