Does c-pod work with Python?

Yes. Cedrus offers an open source Python library. The resulting package, pyxid2, is included with the standard PsychoPy distribution and is published on PyPI.

We also offer a C++ library.

What software supports c-pod?

c-pod is supported by our own SuperLab software, E-Prime, SR Research’s Experiment Builder, Inquisit, Presentation, and PsychoPy, in addition to C++, Python, and Matlab support.

What is the difference between c-pod and m-pod?

c-pod connects to a computer’s USB port. m-pod connects to StimTracker, RB response pad, or Lumina.

You do not offer a c-pod that is compatible with my recorder. Which model should I choose?

We recommend that you send us an email that includes details of the input on your recorder; we might have something for you. If not, you will need a custom cable. The “c-pod Kit” includes a breakout board that simplifies this a bit.

If I place an order, when can I receive it?

c-pod is a stocking item. We ship within 1 to 2 business days. In the U.S. we ship via UPS Ground from California. Delivery time depends on your location. Outside the U.S., we ship via DHL or UPS.

What are the package weight and dimensions?

The following weight and dimensions are for the boxed package.

Dimensions:  10.5 x 8.25 x 1.75 inches   /   26.9 x 21.1 x 4.5 cm
Weight:  0.8 lbs   /   362 grams

These boxes goes into a larger shipping box, so weight and dimensions will be slightly larger.
