Cedrus does not officially support Linux. However, these instructions can get you started.
The Riponda response pads use USB interface chips made by FTDI. Recent versions of the Linux kernel include the required FTDI drivers and should recognize the response pad automatically. You can also obtain the drivers from FTDI’s website.
An alternate approach is to use Riponda in Keyboard mode. This avoids the need to install a USB driver.
Cedrus has a Python open source library that was tested on Ubuntu Linux; see this page for additional information.
